Rebecca grew up in Tullahoma, and is passionate about caring for the people of her community. After completion of her secondary education in Tullahoma, she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from The University of Memphis. The next chapter of Rebecca’s journey led her into Neurological research at Vanderbilt University. While she found research rewarding, Rebecca had always felt a call to the medical field. This calling would lead her to Trevecca Nazarene University’s Physician Assistant program, where she received her Master’s Degree in Medicine August of 2009.

 

    Upon graduation, Rebecca practiced as an Emergency Medicine PA in Oak Ridge, TN. In 2012, she moved back to her hometown of Tullahoma and was given the opportunity to begin an additional field of practice, which has become her passion, Dermatology. Rebecca has served the Dermatologic needs of our area residences while also working PRN in the Emergency Departments of Harton Regional Medical Center and Southern Tennessee Medical Center.

 

    Rebecca and her husband were married on May 1st, 2010, the day of the infamous “Nashville flood”. After drying out, and a few twists in the road, they had two boys, the first by adoption, the second by a birth. When not in the office Rebecca and her family enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible—slathered in sunscreen and wearing hats, of course!
